We would like to invite you to attend a complimentary CME-endorsed webinar designed to help doctors understand Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) and how this may affect their patients.
Presented by Jo Ritchie, an Audiologist at Dilworth Hearing, this webinar will provide valuable insights into identifying the signs of APD to determine when referrals for testing are appropriate.
You will learn about the diagnostic processes used by audiologists for both children and adults, including the criteria for diagnosing APD. Additionally, the session will explore effective management strategies for APD, such as assistive technology, auditory training, and environmental modifications.
In addition to 2 CME points, participants will walk away with a good understanding of:
• The signs of APD.
• Patients who are likely to benefit from APD testing.
• How APD is diagnosed and the management options.
The Auditory Processing Disorder webinar activity has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 2 CME credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes. Credits are for active Fellows of the College only.
